Ragging – Free Campus – Vidura College of Business Management

Ragging-Free Campus Initiative

At VCBM, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive educational environment for all our students. Ragging is strictly prohibited on our campus, and we uphold a zero-tolerance policy against any form of harassment or bullying. To ensure compliance and awareness, we have established a robust framework aligned with the regulations set forth by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Key Documents and Affidavits

As part of our admission process, both students and their parents or guardians are required to submit signed affidavits affirming their understanding and acceptance of our anti-ragging policies. These documents are crucial in fostering a community of respect and safety.

  • Student Affidavit: Every student must complete an affidavit affirming that they will not engage in ragging and understand the consequences of such actions. View Student Affidavit
  • Parent/Guardian Affidavit: Parents or guardians also need to sign an affidavit, acknowledging the anti-ragging regulations and agreeing to the terms set forth by the institution. View Parent/Guardian Affidavit

Policies and Regulations

Our policies are designed to prevent any incidents of ragging and to establish a protocol for handling cases should they occur:

  • AICTE Regulations: We follow the AICTE regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher education institutions. These regulations provide a detailed framework for the prevention and prohibition of ragging in all its forms. Read AICTE Regulations
  • Immediate Actions: In compliance with these regulations, we undertake immediate and stringent actions against any reported cases of ragging. This includes but is not limited to suspension, expulsion, and possible legal action.

Awareness and Monitoring

To further strengthen our anti-ragging measures:

  • Orientation Programs: All new students participate in orientation sessions that cover our anti-ragging policies and the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive campus atmosphere.
  • Regular Monitoring: Our Anti-Ragging Committee conducts regular monitoring and patrolling of the campus to prevent ragging and ensure compliance with our policies.

We stand firm in our commitment to a ragging-free educational environment, and we appreciate the cooperation of our students and their families in upholding these values. Together, we can maintain a safe and positive learning space for everyone at VCBM.
